About This Project
Capitalizing on its central location in Corktown/Mexican town the redevelopment of the train station and its surrounding areas has all the ingredients needed to make it success.
This is one of the most exciting type of projects we can do as architects, by creating a new model for sustainable smart town.
The project will be a testbed for technology-driven development, with plans to incorporate driverless cars, auto-lighting, ai research and smart building technology for services such as mobility, waste management, security, embracing low carbon features and green technology.
The satellite town being created will be destination for leisure activities centered around the re-imagined Roosevelt park, becoming a creative business hub with a high-value economic activity while providing generous green spaces for the growing workforce and residents.
As a long-term city planner with focus on sustainable innovative solutions, we believe the future development of the former central train depot will deliver long-term highly skilled jobs, creating science and technology-based products, providing employment in automotive high tech jobs, with training and education to the benefit of ford motor co.
